Join the Liberty Township Historical Society and the Hopewell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) as they commemorate America's 250 Birthday with the Freedom Bells & Community Picnic community celebration. All are welcome to gather at the historic Hughes Schoolhouse, located at 6010 Princeton Road, on Saturday, July 4 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., to honor our nation's rich history and bright future. As part of a nationwide observance, attendees will take part in a ceremonial bell ringing at 12 p.m., joining communities across the country in marking this historic milestone. Come celebrate our shared heritage, reflect on our past, and look ahead to the future as we ring in 250 years of American independence.
