Join Friends of Chrisholm and explore the historic Augspurger House at Chrisholm MetroPark. The Chrisholm farm team will be available for you to ask questions and meet the animals who call Chrisholm MetroPark home. Explore the historic Augspurger House and learn about the family who once called it home. The program will start with a short talk on the functional role of cellars and bank barns on 1800s farmsteads. This will be followed by a tour of the Pennsylvania German historic bank barn, as well as the vaulted ceiling sub-cellar, thought to be the only existing one of its kind in Butler County.
