Your New Go-To Spot for Live Music, Food & Drinks!

Hamilton natives, Jay Davis and his two cousins, always dreamt about opening a bar together. A few years ago, they opened The 513 in Los Angeles, a nod to their hometown. As things were building and snowballing in Los Angeles, Davis looked at the possibility of moving back to his hometown.

"We always wanted to be here [in Hamilton]," says Davis.

When the buildings on Main Street became available, Davis applied and made a pitch to the city of Hamilton about opening The 513. "Luckily, they liked the idea, and we got the buildings," says Davis.

From there, it was full steam ahead on revamping the historic buildings. Construction on the 200-year-old buildings took about two years including planning, designing, permitting, and constructing. Jay and his team stripped the buildings down to what they were 190 years ago and let the bricks and the original concrete floor do all the work.

"We just accented it a little bit," says Davis.

Bar & Food

The kitchen and food aspect to The 513 was something that Davis had never been involved in before. Davis partnered with the Montgomery Inn to provide the food at The 513. Menu items include wings, fries, and Montgomery Inn pulled pork and chicken, and in-house chopped brisket.

"Having a manager on my staff that's a culinary chef is huge," says Davis.

In addition to a delicious menu, there are two full bars to order a drink from!

Outdoor Patios

The fun doesn't stop indoors! There are THREE outdoor patios with plenty of seating to enjoy a drink or bite to eat. Anyone can come sit outside at anytime and experience a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

Live Music & Events

Jay wanted the opportunity to show off the local music scene and showcase the talent with live music every week. Enjoy live music, food, drinks, BINGO, sports games, and good vibes at The 513.
