Meet Me at Marsh Park

Marsh Park is a quiet oasis for fishing, boating, walking, + more!

Tucked away in the southwestern corner of Fairfield, Marsh Park is the perfect escape when you’re craving fresh air, peaceful views, and a dose of nature. With a scenic lake, walking trails, and on-the-water activities, it’s a dream for outdoor lovers.

Lake Activities

Spend the day out on the water, boating or fishing. The park’s spring-fed lake stretches across 60 acres with 4,000+ feet of accessible shoreline. It’s stocked with carp, catfish, bluegill, bass, and more. Fishing is catch-and-release only and open February through November.

You don’t need a license to fish here, so just bring your pole and snacks!

Kayaking

Ready to paddle? You can now rent kayaks right from your phone using the free Rent.Fun app. Rentals are available March 1 – November 30, and pricing is:

  • $20 for the first two hours

  • $10 for each additional hour

Just scan, unlock, and hit the water!

Walking Trails

Marsh Park has a mix of paved and gravel trails, perfect for a breezy walk or light jog. The paths loop around the lake, offering gorgeous water views, shady trees, and the peaceful sounds of nature.

The total 'Loop' trail length is approximately 1.8 miles.
