Immerse yourself in a 90-minute sound journey held under the serene beauty of the Pyramid House skylight, and surrounded by the history of antiquities. Refresh your mind, body, and spirit with the resonant tones of crystal singing bowls, gongs, and other sound instruments. This immersive journey is designed to calm the nervous system, reset your energy, and create space for inner stillness and reflection.

Forest Bathing

Forest bathing is the Japanese practice of “Bathing in the Healing Elements of the Forest”. This guided experience is an invitation to slow down and awaken the senses, allowing you to quietly take in nature’s gifts. Forest Bathing follows a standard sequence including slow, attentive walking, guided sensory experiences, individual reflection, closing with tea made with foraged ingredients, and optional group sharing.

Pickin' in the Park

Grab your lawn chairs and settle in for a toe-tapping Bluegrass Festival! This concert will feature an opening act, intermission, and a headlining band, making it the perfect event to relax, unwind, and enjoy great music & your roots with family and friends.

Local organizations and businesses are invited to participate in the Local Roots Passport, an interactive opportunity for residents to learn the history of Trenton’s local organizations and businesses. Guests can visit participating booths, collect stamps, and return a completed passport for a prize!

Let Freedom BOOM!

Celebrate a milestone in American history at Let Freedom BOOM! Trenton’s America 250 Celebration, a community-wide evening honoring 250 years of independence with music, history, and hometown pride.

Guests can line State Street for the patriotic parade from 6:00–7:00 PM, which concludes at Community Park and transitions into an evening of entertainment and activities.

The American 250 Discovery Relay

Celebrate the outdoors and 250 years of history with the American Discovery 250 Relay — a 6,800-mile coast-to-coast journey, starting on the 4th of July and ending on Thanksgiving. The trail goes past numerous historic sites, through dozens of ecosystems, and is hosted by hundreds of communities, including Okeana and Oxford. The trail passes through Governor Bebb MetroPark, Indian Creek MetroPark, and Hueston Woods State Park. 

Salute to Pioneers

Join the Indian Creek Pioneer Church & Restoration Committee and the MetroParks of Butler County for a program at Reily Township’s historic Pioneer Church, recognizing the two Revolutionary War Veterans buried there: Heman Adams and Thomas Boone, and their significance to Butler County.
