The Nance

A bold, heartfelt comedy/drama set in 1930s New York, where burlesque and politics collide. The Nance explores identity, repression, and the fight for dignity with unflinching honesty. This play deals with mature themes, gay & political issues and suggestive humor of the era and is recommended for ages 16 and up.

Performances are Friday June 26 at 8pm, Saturday June 27 at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday June 28 at 2pm.

Pickin' in the Park

Grab your lawn chairs and settle in for a toe-tapping Bluegrass Festival! This concert will feature an opening act, intermission, and a headlining band, making it the perfect event to relax, unwind, and enjoy great music & your roots with family and friends.

Local organizations and businesses are invited to participate in the Local Roots Passport, an interactive opportunity for residents to learn the history of Trenton’s local organizations and businesses. Guests can visit participating booths, collect stamps, and return a completed passport for a prize!

Celebrate a milestone in American history at Let Freedom BOOM! Trenton’s America 250 Celebration, a community-wide evening honoring 250 years with music, history, and hometown pride.

Enjoy a patriotic parade from 6:00–7:00 PM! The parade route will begin at Edgewood Baptist Church and follow State Street to Sal Boulevard to Trenton Community Park.

The American 250 Discovery Relay

Celebrate the outdoors and 250 years of history with the American Discovery 250 Relay — a 6,800-mile coast-to-coast journey, starting on the 4th of July and ending on Thanksgiving. The trail goes past numerous historic sites, through dozens of ecosystems, and is hosted by hundreds of communities, including Okeana and Oxford. The trail passes through Governor Bebb MetroPark, Indian Creek MetroPark, and Hueston Woods State Park.
